Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Data Scientist / Architect with our Client Solutions Group (CSG) Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Team in Singapore Design Center.

What you’ll achieve

As a Data Scientist / Architect on the CSG CTO team, you’ll gain experience as a lead Data Scientist with a strong AI/ML focus, leveraging established university and industry contacts, leading a team of engineers for applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions across the client devices portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical CTO AI initiatives, and working with a team of data scientists, AI, data, and embedded SW engineers to research, develop, and deploy AI-enabled solutions for millions of end users. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Guide and work with teams of HW & SW engineers, data scientists, and data engineers to deliver the complete life cycle of complex AI/ML solutions on client devices. Architect AI/ML software solutions tailored for client silicon using strong knowledge of client device ecosystem nuances and complexities
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to architect and develop data pipelines spanning the client ecosystem, both on and off device as well as collaborate across organizations, with engineering and operations teams to integrate and deploy ML solutions across client devices with cloud integration
  • Participate with PC business units to synthesize business questions and translate them into architecture. Keep up with latest trends in Generative AI across the industry.
  • Deliver experiences using data, advocate and execute strategies to adopt data and data science in all business and architectural resolutions
  • Provide AI-enabled concepts by working with marketing and engineering teams to define, plan, and develop a product roadmap

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in AI/ML, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other Engineering & Scientific fields with a significant quantitative component; Bachelors + 12 years, MS + 8 years, Ph.D. + 5 years minimum
  • Advanced experience with development in the Microsoft (MS) Windows OS including with client SDKs including MS DirectML, WinML, and MS Graph as well as with embedded device development in RTOS environments
  • Progressive knowledge of AI / ML algorithms, particularly in the Generative AI domain, as well as in AI/ML optimization techniques for delivering models and algorithms into resource-constrained environments with advanced experience with Deep Learning libraries and runtimes such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, TensorRT, and nuances of their application in end-user ecosystems
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain difficult analytical methods to technical and business stakeholders
  • Evidence of leadership skills in software development, data science organizations, or other cross-functional teams, with advanced leadership, mentorship and coaching skills. 

Desirable skills

  • Experience working with cloud-based applications in Azure as well as guiding teams across multiple programs and interacting across organizations
  • Experience working with Open Neural Network Exchange (ONNX) models, the ONNX run time (ORT), and Execution Provider (EP) development as well as advanced use of hardware vendor toolchains such as Intel OpenVino, Qualcomm QNN, NVIDIA CUDA, or AMD Ryzen AI Software
