Job Description

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in a customer-facing technical consulting role, driving customer technical implementations or transformation programs. Preferred qualifications:Experience in DevOps capabilities and their practical application to drive organizational change.

Experience designing, building, or advocating for Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and support AI platforms. Experience in leveraging AI and Machine Learning (e. g. , Generative AI) to solve practical developer productivity challenges.

As a Senior Consultant, you are a trusted advisor to C-level executives and engineering leaders. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and strategic mindset to help customers adopt and scale practices centered on DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA), platform engineering, and AI-driven developer operations.

Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. ResponsibilitiesLead high-impact consulting engagements with Google’s strategic customers, focusing on developer productivity, operational excellence, and platform engineering.

Act as the subject-matter expert on DORA, guiding customers in measuring and improving their software delivery and operational performance, and linking it to business outcomes. Advise executives (C-Level) on strategies for building internal developer platforms as a product and creating golden paths that reduce cognitive load. Develop strategies for leveraging AI including Generative AI to transform the developer experience and accelerate the software development lifecycle.

Foster collaboration internally and externally, contributing to the 10x technology practice’s go-to-market offerings and thought leadership.
