Senior Data Analyst

We’re working with a leading legal and advisory firm on a high-profile regulatory remediation programme. This is a 6-month contract (with strong potential for extension), working closely with client stakeholders and internal delivery teams. The role will require presence on-site in London three days per week, on a hybrid basis.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the build of a remediation population dataset, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Designing and overseeing data cleansing, validation, and cohorting processes
• Creating a “single source of truth” for customer data tied to motor finance agreements with commission elements
• Conducting quality assurance and spot-checks to verify integrity of source data
• Supporting junior data analysts and coordinating with delivery leads

Requirements

• A proven background in data quality, integrity, or remediation within financial services
• Hands-on experience managing large datasets in Excel (SQL a plus)
• Familiarity with regulatory projects (e.g. PPI, redress, or compliance remediation)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to provide assurance at senior levels
