Role Description
- As part of the Chief Data Office, the role will be supporting the Head Data Life Cycle in their development and implementation DWS’ Data Principles and Policy, aligned to the data governance framework and procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in our Data Management capabilities.
- The role will play a pivotal role in the development, tracking, and analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive strategic decision-making within the organization. to ensure compliance with our data governance practices within DWS through the development.
- This role will require collaboration and support of data owners and stewards, the management of data governance tools and technologies as well as the assessment of data governance processes and policies.
- Collaborative working is essential for the role along with an initiative-taking “can do” approach.

Your key responsibilities
- Identify and collaborate with data owners & stewards across different departments to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Support the development and management of a comprehensive framework for defining, measuring, and Reporting on key performance indicators across various departments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify critical KPIs aligned with business objectives and strategies.
- Support the design and implement data collection processes and Analytical tolos to ensure accurate and timely Reporting.
- Analyse KPI data, generating actionable Insights to support business goals and improve operational efficiency.
- Create and present regular reports and dashboards that effectively communicate KPI performance to leadership and stakeholders.
- Champion training and awareness programs to educate employees on data governance best practices.
- Regularly assess and refine data governance processes and policies in line with the industry best practice, to promote continuous improvement.
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience in data analytics or data management role, with a strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in data análisis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableua. Power BI, QuikSense).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership and ability to build and sustain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a strategic level.
- Excellent communication, both in listening and conveying messages to a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Personal ownership to continually learn.
