THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Analyst at Oetker Digital, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive business decisions and strategies. You will work closely with various teams to analyze large datasets, generate insights, and develop models that help our brands grow and succeed in the digital space. Your expertise will guide the optimization of marketing strategies, product development, and customer engagement initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support data-driven decision making
  • Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data analysis needs
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring data is translated into actionable insights
  • Monitor and optimize marketing campaigns, customer behavior analytics, and product performance
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experimental designs to measure the impact of different strategies

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics)
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a business context
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data analysis and modeling
  • Experiences with Cloud platforms (mainly Google Cloud, Azure or AWS also good) for data storage and processing, having worked with BigQuery is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • A growth mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • You are a team player and you like to work in cross-functional teams
  • You like to learn, work hands-on, take ownership, and have an impact
  • Fluent in German and English
