Senior Data Analyst, Marketplace Operations
Job Description
We are looking for a Marketplace Operations Senior Data Analyst to join Bolt Food’s Central Operations team on our journey to discover and drive performance improvements all over our markets throughout Europe and Africa and work to achieve our food delivery goals.

About the role
The Central Operations team consists of individuals from all over the world who are closely working together on building the foundations for us to scale our operation globally across the following functions: Courier Lifecycle, Courier Performance, Marketplace Operations, and Operational Excellence.
The Marketplace Operations Sr Analyst will be one of the key employees at our HQ team and you will be responsible for bringing our marketplace to the top level of excellence and efficiency by uncovering opportunities on how to improve our delivery quality, CPO and courier efficiency. This role requires a proficient level of technical skills and a good understanding of the business
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Data Management. Managing the usability, integrity & availability of our data. Build, maintain and improve data pipelines.
- Data Analysis. Deep-diving into the data to answer questions such as: when and why are couriers most likely to churn and how can we detect it? How do we measure the success of our merchant partners during their early lifecycle? How can we do better in managing supply-demand balance in peak hours?
- Reporting & Dashboards. Building and maintaining reports and dashboards that support key activities and decision-making for central and local teams.
- Project Management. Closely working with different stakeholders from Central Operations, Product, Commercial and local teams in order to resolve the most challenging issues in either our courier, merchant or marketplace operations..
- Leader among peers. Leading among your analyst peers, working on onboarding, training, and coaching more junior team members to help them grow and develop.
About you:
- You have 4+ years of background in a Data Analyst role with experience in collecting, organizing and analyzing big volumes of data. Experience in Project Management would be advantageous.
- You have an experience with building efficient data models (ETLs, dbt, Airflow, Databricks, etc).
- You have advanced SQL and Python skills; experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau etc.) would be advantageous
- You have excellent communication & written skills in English.
