At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a hybrid position. You’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office, so you should live within commuting distance of Gurgaon. Hybrid teams may work in-office as much as a few times a week or as little as once a month or quarter, as decided by leadership.  What you’ll get to do…

  •  Work in an agile(scrum) development environment, constantly shipping and iterating
  • Develop high quality batch and streaming big data pipelines
  • Collaborate with our data consumers, bringing together requirements, and delivering complete data solutions
  • Is responsible for the development and maintenance of datasets that drive key business decisions
  • Embrace and define the standards and best practices in data engineering, including data integrity, performance optimization, validation, reliability, and documentation
  • Keep up to date with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to develop the data architecture to scale, with the increased data volume using cloud services
  • Triage many possible courses of action, in a high ambiguity environment, making use of both quantitative analysis and business judgment

 Your experience should include…

  • 3+ years validated experience in analytics, data development, and data warehousing delivering reliable data pipelines with confirmed test infrastructure, CICD, data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting
  • Experience with AWS Cloud, EMR, Serverless compute, Redshift, S3, MWAA, Spark and GitHub
  • Experience working with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) and with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Oozie, Step Functions)
  • Experience in programming using Python, SQL, Java or Scala. Proven understanding of database technologies including NoSQL and SQL
  • Skilled in large-scale batch and streaming data processing (Hadoop, Spark, Kinesis, Flink, EMR)

 You may also have…

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree 
  • Experience in Tableau reports for analytics
