Job Description Summary
The (Senior) Data Architect position is a technical position with responsibility to lead the development, validation, publishing, and maintenance of data architecture, data flow, logical and physical data models covering Data Products (DPs) developed within TRD business functions. A key responsibility is to work/collaborate with key roles such as Business Team, Data Stewards, Business Analysts, Ontology Specialists, etc. (Senior) Data Architect will be expected to leverage knowledge of data architecture & data modelling best practices along with industry data expertise and data standardization. (Senior) Data Architect must be capable of working across technical & business stakeholders of TRD business
Job Description
Major Accountabilities

With data owners, define and operate data transfer, storage, and ingestion processes meeting TRD needs

Create and maintain conceptual / logical data models to identify key business entities and visual relationships

Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts

Perform data profiling / analysis activities

Leverage and enforce standards for data naming conventions to ensure consistency and reuse of data models

Help building data quality dashboards that report relevant and critical data metrics to stakeholders

Review data models with both technical and business stakeholders/data stewards

Collaborate with data stewards and help them understanding and acknowledging data-centric principles

Validate business use cases for accuracy and completeness of proposed data models

Analyze and support the implementation of data related compliance guidelines that meet data management needs and constraints
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in data management, data operations, or related roles

Strong technical skills in database management systems, data modelling, data flow, data architecture, data integration tools, data cataloguing, data quality frameworks.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify insights and trends from data

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
