Job Description

OCI’s Capacity Data Analytics team is looking for a senior data engineer with stellar SQL and data engineering skills to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will collaborate with leaders from across OCI’s engineering, business, and finance teams to develop compelling analytical solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust SQL skills, be able to deep-dive into multiple subject areas, while partnering with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

The Capacity Data Analytics develops reporting, self-service analytics tools, and data management infrastructure that supports OCI’s core Compute, Storage, Data Center and Networking teams, Our charter is to develop and refine the canonical data used to inform strategic decisions, and measure operational efficiency.

In this role, you will design, test, validate, document, and implement innovative solutions to deliver self-service analytical tools and data visualizations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ideal candidate will thrive in both technical deep-dives and long-term strategic planning of technical initiatives. You will be expected to deliver high-quality data in a variety of formats, and be able to explain the data lineage, assumptions, and business logic used to generate the output.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
