Job Description

Join us in this role where you’ll get the opportunity to work with wind farm data. We’re committed to delivering on our organisation’s digital strategy and creating a strong platform for analytics, model management etc. which are all built on cloud technologies. We test and learn as we go and our ambition is to power and connect a workplace where everyone can thrive, perform, and grow.

Welcome to Software Engineering
You’ll be part of Software Engineering Competence Centre and work in the Trading Express ART where you, together with your colleagues, will cooperate closely with other scrum teams in the ART (SAFe Agile Release Train), incl. traders, analysts, developers, and integration colleagues. We offer a Scandinavian working culture focusing on diversity and inclusion and we value work-life balance. As a team, we value curiosity and fun working together, therefore we combine office days with days working from home.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • developing and maintaining secure, monitored, and peer-reviewed data ingestion pipelines for trading-related data
  • coding and maintaining the deal capture process within our in-house algorithmic trading system
  • modernising our database stack by migrating from outdated systems to a more lightweight, modular architecture
  • driving the evolution of our Trading and Revenue data landscape, ensuring it meets current and future needs
  • collaborating with stakeholders, primarily Python development and analytics teams, to identify inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • are proficient in python and object-oriented programming, with a passion within data. Knowledge of Java is a plus
  • are a strong team player who thrives on collaboration. Our team is distributed across Denmark, Poland, and Malaysia
  • have experience with DevOps, including integrating logging, testing, monitoring, and alerting within data pipelines
  • have a critical and experimental mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed
  • have familiarity with event streaming applications or a strong willingness to learn and apply this knowledge.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
