Microsoft Business and Industry Copilot organization represents one of the fastest growing teams in Microsoft. It inludes flagship products Power Platform and D365 which are recognized as a leader in Software as a Service for business applications.
Your expertise in Data engineering, database technologies, and analytics will be crucial in driving product supportability solutions. You will work closely with Data scientists and Data analysts to develop ML models and insights that help increase customer satisfaction and reduce Microsoft Support costs. This engineering role offers ample growth in scope and influence.
Responsibilities
Build aggregates and data pipelines required for reporting, insights production, ML models, and ad hoc analysis.
– Collaborate with data scientists to generate new actionable insights that improve the customer experience.
– Engage in design discussions to advocate and execute improvements across our technology stack, focusing on enhancing product supportability.
Qualifications
Preferred Basic Qualifications:
– 3 years of experience as a software/data engineer.
– 1 year of relevant work experience in data analytics and/or growth hacking.
– Technical aptitude and hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools and technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
– At least 1 year of experience with big data technologies like Azure Data Lake, Synapse, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, MLOps, etc.
– Experience in implementing ML models for day-to-day operations.
– At least 3 years of experience as a software engineer.
– Solid understanding of telemetry and data analytics technologies like SQL, PySpark, Kusto, Azure ML, Python, Spark.
– Any experience in product supportability lifeccyle would be a plus.
– Any experience in Azure DevOps, PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and PowerBI would be a plus.
– Passion for data with a strong desire to learn and adopt new technologies and analysis methodologies.
– Enjoy discovering and solving problems.
– Comfortable with ambiguity and working independently.
– A willingness to learn, share, and improve.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Security Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will require passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
