Role Overview:
We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to focus on identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in a cloud-based backend system. The role centers on enhancing data processing, report generation, and overall application responsiveness, working closely with engineering and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze SQL Server performance and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Tune backend queries and indexing to minimize delays.
• Optimize report queuing and processing logic.
• Align improvements with business workflows.
• Operate in an agile environment, delivering value incrementally.
• Work independently with minimal onboarding.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience with SQL Server performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong understanding of Azure database services and monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core backend development.
• Familiarity with DevExpress or similar reporting technologies.
• Ability to deliver solutions autonomously within agile development cycles.
