PROJECT
While regularly getting new opportunities, we currently don’t have enough people to process them. Thus, we are looking for someone to extend the Data Competency team to support the pre-sales processes and get involved in the project. As a Data Engineer joining BU003 Data Competency Center, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving its endeavors.
Job Description
- Pre-sales collaboration: Collaborating with solution architects, project managers, and business analysts to gather requirements, perform investigations, and provide estimations for potential projects
- Project initiation: Taking the lead in driving new projects and being a key driver in their success
- Project execution: Becoming a part of the team for one of the opportunities in the pipeline, fulfilling the Data Engineer role
- Contributing to and spearheading Data Engineering excellence: Researching technology trends and conducting best practices analysis to ensure our solutions remain state-of-the-art
Qualifications
- Proficiency in building, maintaining, testing, and delivering large-scale data pipelines
- ETL/ELT expertise: Practical experience with at least one end-to-end solution and its start, development, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in working with large data extraction, aggregation, and manipulation using a selected database. Experience and strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Understanding the pros and cons of different types of databases, experience in data modeling, and database optimizations
- At least 3-5 years of proficiency in Python or Skala for data processing and transformation
- Hands-on experience with main frameworks and libraries in Data Engineering domains: Spark, Hive, Kafka, Airflow, Flink, etc., with a proven record of debugging and optimization experience
- Experience with CI/CD in data engineering
- Experience with cloud-based data processing solutions
WILL BE A PLUS:
- Knowledge of K8s orchestrations
- Exposure to OLAP tools like Tableau, Qlik, Grafana, or similar
- Databricks experience/certification
