Cash Data domain
In Cash Data domain we are working every day to help our corporate clients run their business smoothly. The clients that are using and benefiting from the results of our work are well-known multinational corporates, many of which you know and use their products. The products we provide to clients are sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit-facilities, term deposits and many more. Those products help clients to make payments to their employees, suppliers, and achieve their cash management goals.
As a Senior Data Engineer (f/m/x) you’ll be part of the team responsible for building Big Data platform capabilities, including ingesting pipelines, big data processing pipelines and data preparation. You’ll work on designing hybrid data platform across Public Cloud and On-premises resources. We are looking for engineers with strong design and coding skills, team players, motivated and self-driven. People with passion for software engineering and the ability to work in a fast-paced evolving environment.

Your key responsibilities
- Create efficient big data processing pipelines to support the development of data products
- Optimize data storage and processing for speed and efficiency
- Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
- We value code quality, refactoring and engineering best practices and expect that from you as well
Your skills and experiences
- Strong experience working with distributed clusters, specifically with Distributed Columnar Databases, e.g. Redshift, Clickhouse, BigQuery
- Proficient in building data processing pipelines and analytical components for complex data products
- Expertise in Spark, Java, or Scala
- Knowledge of any Cloud technology, preferably GCP
- Good communication skills, good written and spoken English
