Senior Data Engineer II
Job Description
In this role, you will:
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and accuracy of our data.
- Work closely with analysts, product managers, engineers, and other business partners to define and build new pipeline features, providing guidance to ensure quality in our
data modeling. - Enhance and maintain our data pipeline from ingestion into our data warehouse, transformation by DBT models, and visualization on Looker.
- Guide best practices for data collection to meet downstream data modeling and product needs.
- Help lay the groundwork and support efforts to use our data in new and meaningful contexts, working directly with analysts to drive insights for the business. Interfacing with
cross functional stakeholders (here, it will be mostly analytics and marketing). - Establish and maintain SLA’s/SLO’s for key business dependencies.
- Solve challenges in architecture, security, anti-fraud, performance, scalability, personalization, optimization, payments and more.
- Proactively bringing new sources of data in, improving modeling, making data available for the business to leverage.
- Regular requests from various parts of the business to debug, bring services online, answer questions about data.
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other closely related technical field of study; Plus 5 years (60 months) of work experience in the job offered or other closely related positions.
- Must pass company’s standard technical test.
Experiences may be concurrent. Employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and/or training to satisfy the minimum requirements for the position. May work remotely anywhere in the U.S.

The hiring range for this position is below, plus benefits (401K, paid time off, dental, medical, vision, disability, life insurance options). To determine starting pay within the hiring range, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, role/level, a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity.
