Job Description

Fuel for mobility

We bring bold digital visions to life. So we’re on the lookout for more curious and creative engineers who want to create change – one line of high-quality code at a time. Our transformation isn’t for everyone, but if you’re excited about solving the leading-edge technological challenges facing the auto industry, then let’s talk about your next move.

What you’ll do

In the Car Service Experience cluster, part of the Commercial Digital area, you will support the creation and transformation of service information. You’ll be part of the journey toward building a platform where numerous products, including those owned by other teams, can easily share their data. To achieve this, we operate in a multi-functional setting with key responsibilities that include:

•    Design and implement scalable and innovative solutions by integrating various source systems and transforming data into a unified service information platform.
•    Lead troubleshooting and optimization efforts to enhance system performance and reliability, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

This role requires substantial interaction with stakeholders due to our belief in empowered teams. Understanding the problems at hand and identifying the best possible solutions is a vital part of the job. You will be expected to innovate and tackle business-critical objectives, whilst maintaining a portfolio of essential services. Collaborating with other teams is also crucial as you will propose solutions that benefit not only our team but also other product teams, and data consumers.

What you’ll bring

We believe that the ideal candidate will possess not only extensive experience with the data engineering technologies we use but also a high level of proficiency in soft skills.

Your main technical responsibilities include implementing tooling, developing data pipelines and data governance solutions. Our stack is based on Azure, ADF, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL, NoSQL (Cosmos DB) and Azure functions. Previous experience working with those technologies will be valuable in the role.

On the soft skills side, you should be a collaborative team player who is adaptable and open to changes. A keen interest in learning and delivering is essential, along with a receptiveness to different perspectives.

The role is a full-time position based in Gothenburg. You are currently expected to work from the office an average of three days per week, but this could increase in the future as we have an office-first policy.
