About the DataOne Team

 

• We are a team of expert business analysts, Data Architects, and software engineers, spread across 
multiple locations around the globe, driving the Enterprise Data Governance to enable to manage ‘Data 
as an asset’ within Swiss Re.
We work with our data experts, data owners and data consumers and provide them well-governed data 
which help to build Logical & Analytical Data Model for our Data Scientists to prepare data models and 
business insights.
About the Role 
• Provide Collibra subject matter expertise through your technical capabilities and coach business teams 
to drive ownership /stewardship and metadata management in the tool. 
• Support organizing the enterprise data in the catalog through deployment of enterprise taxonomy, 
metadata management framework and data architecture standards. Work closely with key business 
users to understand mission critical business data needs.
• Design and configure metamodel and asset model.
• Validate completeness of data lineage between the point of data element creation (system of record) 
and the point where it is consumed by business users (trusted data sources) and design processes for 
implementation
• Devise improvements to current procedures and develop methods for increasing efficiency, accuracy, 
and performance of metadata solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytic 
requirements / business processes and workflows
• Build strong partnerships with the DG team and other cross functional / business teams to ensure 
strong collaboration, timely response / feedback and dependency resolution. Also, create plans to 
improve data contribution by the business units, thereby advocating a data culture.
About You
• You have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in information management, computer science, business 
administration or equal. 
• Hands-on experience with Collibra preferably Collibra Ranger certified
• Experience of working with as well as influencing stakeholders to balance business needs with IT 
standards and processes
