Job Description

Senior Data Scientist positions offered by CCI Corporate Services LLC (Atlanta, GA). Participate in initiatives to understand, contextualize, and solve the most challenging problems in Cox’s analytical portfolio. Engage in requirement and design discussions to distill business needs into business requirements which enable analytics for new business initiatives and KPIs. Understand business problems and participate in the design of end-to-end analytics use cases. Coordinate with business technical leads to implement reusable and robust solutions. Apply strong expertise in machine-learning, data mining, and information retrieval to design, prototype and build the next generation analytics engine and services. Collaborate with A+I leadership and engagement teams to present solutions and insights to business. Help maintain and track project goals and road maps. Collaborate with software and data engineers to implement and deploy scalable solutions. Develop complex models and algorithms that drive innovation throughout the organization. This may include initiatives in understanding our Products, Operations, Footprint, Supply Chain. Engage with junior team members and provide constructive critique on specific projects. Utilize frameworks in AWS for transitioning analytics solutions at different maturity levels between data science and operational teams. Follow data engineering best practices with considerations for high data availability, computational efficiency, cost, and quality.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the position offered or 4 years of experience working in the supply chain data analytics domain. Also requires 4 years of experience: using operations, technology and analytics focused reporting; programming with SQL and Python programming languages; building or implementing supply chain planning analytical models in Python/R, Anaplan, O9, Kinaxis, or Blue Yonder; analyzing supply chain data to identify and develop actionable and measurable business KPIs; implementing interactive business dashboards for leadership using Tableau or PowerBI; working with program management tools and Agile and Scrum frameworks; implementing production-grade supply chain planning and optimization analytics tools; and mentoring junior technical and analytical professionals to deliver business facing outcomes. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields and 4 years of experience as stated, the employer will accept a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, or a Ph.D. or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and experience or graduate-level coursework as stated. Position reports to Atlanta, GA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.

Compensation includes a base salary of $116,377 to $139,050. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company’s needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
