Purpose of Job

Extract valuable insights from complex datasets, by leverage advanced data analysis, machine learning, and statistical analysis techniques. This role focuses on driving data-driven decision-making by developing data interpretation solutions, and providing actionable recommendations. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement advanced data driven solutions  that enhance products, services, processes and support the strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Business Insight Translation: Translate business challenges into relevant data science solutions that drive decision-making for both operational and strategic initiatives. • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns and actionable insights, supporting improvement of business outcomes. • Model development: Build, test, optimize and deploy scalable data science solutions (eg. machine learning models) that align with business objectives. • Enhance data integrity: Promote data quality through application of sound data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation practices. Integrate and systemise solutions that promote scalable data pipeline management practices for current and future data driven needs. • Clear communication: Present analysis findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences. • Stakeholder collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into existing business processes. • Act as change agent: Provide guidance and mentorship for data scientists and analyst while ensuring all solutions are efficient, practical, sustainable and scalable. • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and technologies and foster a culture of innovation through the effective use of data.
