We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist / ML Engineer to drive our AI strategy and apply machine learning capabilities for data engineering efforts at scale within Entertainment. The role will leverage data from various sources to uncover insights, forecast and prevent customer issues, operationalize data for increased awareness, and manage data pipelines, data harvesting, and data visualization processes.

 

Responsibilities:

– Develop ML models and algorithms to analyze data, identify patterns, and predict outcomes
– Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data for data collection processes
– Implement NLP and statistical analysis methods for text data
– Mentor and train junior data scientists, data engineers, and NLP engineers
– Collaborate cross-functionally to identify patterns in large datasets
– Document models, scripts, processes for transition of responsibilities

 

Requirements:

– 3+ years experience as a Data Scientist/ML Engineer
– MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
– Expertise in building ML models (regression, classification, clustering) with Python, Scala, or R
– Expertise with SQL and AWS tools (S3, EC2, Athena, RDS, Bedrock, Sagemaker)
– Knowledge of predictive modeling techniques and statistical analysis
– Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
– Passion for mentoring junior data scientists

 

Nice to have: 

– Experience with SDKs and software licensing data
– Knowledge of Dolby products and services
– Familiarity with Salesforce, Ingeniux, Sendgrid, Gitlab, Jira
– Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other BI tools
