Senior Data Scientist
Job Description
Data Analyses and engineering
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
- Create and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across systems.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost efficiency.
- Conduct data quality assessments and implement improvements to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
- Mentor and guide junior analysts and engineers, promoting best practices in data analysis and engineering.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the company’s data capabilities.
Dashboards
- Maintenance and developments of several dashboard in Power BI and Tableau in order to support the client facing departments
- Maintenance and development of EUC reports. These EUC reports are mostly developed in MS Excel at the moment
Data flows and Data Quality
- Managing the data quality and the constant improvement of it. With this you provide insights on the completeness and quality of data for all data flows for all departments.
- Coordinate actions to improve the data quality and completeness
Data Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify data needs and establish data governance frameworks
Organization
- Be a role model for the elipsLife culture living entrepreneurial spirit
Relationships
- Excellent relationship Internally with all relevant departments (for example Head Pricing, Business Services, Operational departments, local RMT)
