CID&A is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to drive data science projects focused on Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong understanding of derivatives pricing and products traded. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with traders, researchers and developers to innovate solutions that leverage quantitative finance as well as modern machine learning approaches.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Design, develop and implement a framework to build quantitative models for derivatives pricing and hedging
- Risk management and trading strategies blending traditional quant finance with modern machine learnings approaches.
- Analyze large amounts of data to derive insights and communicate complex quantitative insights/concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform testing and validation of models to ensure accuracy, robustness and consistency across different market regimes.
- Stay abreast of latest developments in quant finance, data science and incorporate relevant advancements into our methodologies and frameworks.
- Provide expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have experience with:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline,
- Solid academic background in Quantitative Finance
- Minimum of 2 years experience interacting with front office or institutional clients in a trader/researcher capacity in one of the above mentioned markets.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience as a data scientist
- Good understanding of time series universe including supervised, unsupervised and classical time series approaches is a must.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience in working with and reconciling big data sets using technologies such as Hive/PySpark,
- Understanding of machine learning and interpretability
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
