You will have the opportunity to consult our business stakeholders on technical matters and their feasibility while also directly implementing state-of-the-art machine learning solutions. We leverage a wide range of methodologies, including NLP, computer vision, forecasting, optimization, and many others, across various applications. Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges, translating them into technical requirements, and organizing workshops to align on solutions.
- Partnering with data scientists, business analysts, and infrastructure experts to design and deliver scalable data and AI solutions across all E.ON countries with global impact.
- Taking ownership of technical projects, ensuring high data quality, code quality, and that solutions meet specified requirements.
- Maintaining stability and excellence through agile methodologies, peer code reviews, and continuous feedback loops.
- Evaluating emerging data technologies to efficiently integrate state-of-the-art machine learning solutions and analytical modules into operational cloud environments.
- Enhancing efficiency and reducing time-to-market by developing reusable artificial intelligence models.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, AI, and technology trends to drive innovation.
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- You have extended years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a degree or PhD in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- You excel in consulting and communication, transforming business challenges into actionable data strategies and adapting your messaging for various audiences, particularly in client interactions, presentations, and workshops.
- You excel in hands-on coding, processing large datasets, time series analysis, optimization algorithms, and building NLP models in Python. You’re skilled with modern ML tools (scikit-learn, XGBoost, DL frameworks) and capable of validating models and implementing scalable pipelines on Spark/Databricks and Azure ML.
- You have a passion for scientific inquiry and problem-solving through data, combined with a strong motivation to deliver practical solutions that meet business needs.
- You have proven hands-on experience in implementing end-to-end data pipelines, encompassing data ingestion to the deployment of analytical models in cloud environments, with expertise in Azure being a notable advantage.
- You are comfortable working with Git and CI/CD workflows, and familiarity with Azure DevOps is considered a bonus.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Streamlit or PowerApps is considered an advantage.
- You are fluent in English, and German language skills are a plus.
