WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in graph-based data analysis, computer vision, object detection, and 3D LIDAR point cloud data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems in these domains. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and domain experts, to drive innovative solutions that leverage cutting-edge technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models for computer vision tasks, including object detection, image segmentation, and classification.
  • Apply graph-based data analysis techniques to model and analyze complex relationships within data, such as social networks, knowledge graphs, or spatial-temporal data.
  • Process, analyse, and interpret 3D LIDAR point cloud data for various applications, including object recognition, scene reconstruction, and autonomous navigation.
  • Design and optimize algorithms for real-time processing and analysis of high-dimensional data, including image and point cloud data.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate machine learning models into production systems, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in graph theory, computer vision, and 3D data processing, and apply these techniques to solve real-world problems.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ph.D. (preferred) or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on graph theory, computer vision, or 3D data analysis.
  • Proven track record in relevant fields such as graph machine learning, computer vision, or 3D data processing.
  • Advanced knowledge of deep learning architectures like CNNs, RNNs, GANs, and their applications in computer vision and 3D data.
  • Minimum 5 years’ related working experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on graph-based data analysis, computer vision, and object detection techniques.
  • Extensive experience with graph theory, graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, ), and graph-based machine learning techniques (e.g., Graph Neural Networks).
  • Strong proficiency in computer vision techniques, including deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV, specifically for tasks like object detection, image segmentation, and feature extraction.
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying object detection models using techniques such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN, or SSD.
  • In-depth knowledge of 3D point cloud processing, LIDAR data analysis, and related tools and libraries (e.g., PCL, Open3D).
  • Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and optimization techniques, with experience in handling large-scale datasets.
  • Experience with big data technologies and frameworks for processing large datasets.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in C++ or other relevant languages being a plus.
  • Experience with cloud-based machine learning services and infrastructure, particularly on Azure.
  • Proficient in Git and experience with collaborative coding practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in iterative cycles.
