comPosition ResponsibilitiesReady to build an AI Center of Excellence from the ground up? As Senior Director, AI Solutions, you’ll have an opportunity to build foundational AI capabilities that power AI transformation across the enterprise.
You’ll establish technical standards, design scalable platforms, and architect solutions that enable AI adoption. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role reporting to the VP of AI Center of Excellence, where you’ll partner directly with senior leadership to translate AI strategy into solutions that drive measurable business value. Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the technical vision and architecture for enterprise AI platforms, ensuring alignment with business transformation goals and long-term scalability requirementsDevelop and maintain the enterprise AI technology roadmap, balancing innovation with practical implementation and organizational readinessEvaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and frameworks to inform strategic technology decisionsDesign end-to-end AI solutions that address complex business challenges, considering integration points, data flows, security requirements, and operational constraintsDefine the technical architecture for enterprise AI platforms, including model deployment infrastructure, orchestration frameworks, and observability toolsCollaborate with governance teams to translate AI policies into technical controls and architectural safeguardsPartner with cross-functional business stakeholders, product leaders, and data science teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutionsMentor and guide technical teams on AI architecture principles, design patterns, and implementation best practicesCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive leadershipQualificationsRequired Qualifications18+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture and IT systems, with significant recent experience (4+ years) architecting AI/ML solutions and platformsDeep hands-on experience with modern AI technologies including large language models, generative AI platforms, machine learning frameworks, and AI agent architecturesExpert-level knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services, API design, microservices architecture, containerization, and modern software development practicesDemonstrated superior analytical and technical thinking across multiple areas of responsibility, with proven track record defining technical strategy and leading enterprise-scale AI initiativesExcellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical vision to audiences from technical teams to C-level executivesPreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fieldExperience building AI Centers of Excellence or leading enterprise AI transformation programsFamiliarity with enterprise AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practicesCertifications in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture frameworks (e.

salary range for this position is $141500. 00 – $247500.
00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
