JR48904 Senior Engineer, Advanced Modeling (AI/ML)
We are seeking an individual who is expert in handling structured and unstructured data using machine learning and statistical techniques, to build state-of-the-art products/solutions that helps in predictive analytics, prescriptive solutions, decision support, and decision automation data systems for our technology development and manufacturing teams. You are expected to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment developing models. This position also requires individuals who can code.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the areas: statistical modeling, feature extraction and analysis, supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning. Exposure to the semiconductor industry is a plus but not a requirement.
- Ability to extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.
- Machine learning and other advanced analytical methods.
- The individual is expected to test solutions, support systems, and collaborate with other programs in the Advanced Modeling group. .
- Experience in cloud technologies like GCP/Azure.
- Experience in Tensorflow, pyTorch, and/or other statistical software.
- Expert in Python and/or pySpark and/or SparkR and/or SparklyR.
- Experience working with time-series data, images, semi-supervised learning, and data with frequently changing distributions is a plus.
- Experience with HPC on Linux environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Exemplary teamwork.
- Experience in 3D structure building or resolving 3D geometry
- Experience with meshing, Computational geometry
- Background in semiconductor processes is an added advantage.
Experience: 0-5+ years of modeling
Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or related fields.
