Position SummaryThe IT Technical Associate (Senior Enterprise Engineer – Data Management Team) proactively manages, maintains, and influences UI Health’s Enterprise computing environment which includes on premises and cloud computing systems and footprint to ensure high availability of mission critical applications.

This involves working with premises and cloud design, database design, Enterprise storage design, Enterprise backup design. Duties & ResponsibilitiesParticipate in planning, developing and implementing:Linux and Windows environments needed for Enterprise solutions and tools (AWS)Cloud strategyDatabase architecture and footprintEnterprise storageEnterprise backup environmentMaintain cloud code repositories for the creation, modification and management of cloud resourcesCollaborate with security administrators to secure cloud infrastructureParticipate in planning long term cloud infrastructure strategyMaintain change management processesUnderstand, design, and deploy cloud services based on application needsWork with team members to implement cost control strategiesUnderstand cloud networkingAble to troubleshoot code, network, and systems for both cloud and on premises deploymentsWork with other teams to migrate on premise workloads to cloud servicesResponsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure availabilityOn call operational support and coverageHelp maintain onsite systemsCreate proper documentation and run book of all system builds and processes. Manage problems and problem escalations in accordance with ITIL standards.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor Degree – Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, related information management field or a clinical area of study.

Minimum of four (4) years professional level IT experience within Database Design and Administration which includes; Demonstrated experience in the design implementation, maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, trouble shooting, problem resolution, and user assistance required of the database environments or related Clinical Experience. Demonstrated experience building, configuring and maintaining enterprise cloud computing environments and windows and Linux environments. Preferred Knowledge and SkillsCertification in: AWS, NetApp, and/or VeeamCreating automating functions for storage and tasks within cloud environment
