Then join our agile and successful AI, Advanced Analytics and Autonomy group as a Senior GenAI Engineer (m/f/d). The core task of the team is to independently develop and deploy state-of-the-art generative AI applications for Covestro.

In addition to our diverse benefits, you can expect an attractive starting salary of between €87,200/year plus variable component and €105,900/year plus variable component for a full-time position. The starting salary depends on your qualifications and professional experience.

Your tasks and responsibilities in detail:

• You implement generative AI use cases

• You are responsible for use cases during the entire life cycle of generative AI products, such as development and implementation of prototypes, minimum viable products (MVP) and accompany the products during the operational phase

• You are responsible for the design and implementation of suitable generative AI solution architectures, including software design and cloud architectures

• You select proposals from external solution providers and consulting companies and evaluate them in terms of their effectiveness and usefulness

• Participate in internal communities of practice and contribute to shaping Covestro’s generative AI tech stack

With the following profile you can get started at Covestro:

• You have a university degree (Bachelor/Master) in computer science, data science or a related field

• You have solid experience with at least one software development language and cloud technologies (preferably AWS)

• You have solid experience with generative AI frameworks, runtime environments and foundational models

• You actively follow innovations and changes in the field of generative AI

• You are familiar with managing AI projects

• You are good at presenting in front of interdisciplinary and multi-hierarchical teams, explaining issues clearly and convincing colleagues with a compelling argumentation

• You feel comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment and always keep a clear head

• You are fluent in written and spoken English
