Senior Healthcare Research and Data Analyst
Job Description
Clarivate provides innovative data and analytical solutions to the largest biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies in the world. Clarivate’s Medtech Data team harnesses real-world healthcare data and identifies meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources to help medical device companies make some of their most important business decisions.
Clarivate Analytics is looking for a curious, creative, team worker and detail-oriented individual for the role of a Senior Analyst. In this role, you will work with a team of data scientists to mine and make sense of three large, distinct datasets that focus on three different aspects of the US healthcare market: hospital purchasing, hospital claims and EHR (electronic health records). About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

You are passionate about data and have at least 3 years of hands-on experience wrangling through large data using SQL and at least 2 years of experience on data analysis tools like python/R..

Engineers (B.E.) or B. Pharm candidates preferably with the following disciplines (B.E. in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, B. Pharmacy).

Expertise in MS SQL.

Strong MS Office and Excel skills is mandatory.

Expertise in anyone (or more) of the data analysis tools/languages such as – R/Python

Expertise working on Healthcare or Lifesciences domain projects.

Expertise in understanding data variables and connecting the dots in various datasets.

Expertise in handling and manipulating large datasets.

Should have handled short/long term projects end to end
-
Expertise on statistical methods

Ability to do secondary research and synthesize the findings.
It would be great if you also had . . .

Understanding of Medtech data and Healthcare in the US.

Exposure to Medtech or Claims/Pharmacy data.

Experience working with data from data vendors.
What will you be doing in this role?

Understand the worldview and pain points of Clarivate customers, working closely with them as a problem-solver. From Fortune 500 companies to smaller startups, you will converse with high-profile clients regularly and be expected to both present and defend conclusions to them.

Design, develop, and maintain processes and systems to analyze structured & unstructured “big data” sources.

Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources with an emphasis on US medical devices and supplies markets.

Evaluate data outputs with a keen eye for details, proactively finding potential errors and omissions.

Identify opportunities and issues for data analysis and experiments, with bias towards driving customer delight.

Contribute your vision; influence the evolution of our products, data models, and data usage strategy.
Hours of Work
45 hours in a week, working days Monday to Friday, working hours 12PM to 9PM IST, Hybrid working mode.
