Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, data engineers and data analysts, as well as business stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that have an impact.
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models for batch-based data products, as well as real-time ML services (API) in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc)
  • Create data pipelines and automation processes that enhance efficiency in data collection and preparation.
  • Drive and advocate adoption of best practices in MLOps (Machine Learning Operations)
  • Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure clarity, reproducibility, and knowledge sharing across teams

Qualifications:

  • A Master degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, ML/AI, Physics, Engineering), along with 2+ years of experience delivering measurable value through data in a commercial setting.
  • Expert in SQL for complex data queries and analysis, as well as strong programming skills in Python and confidence using version control systems (Git)
  • Strong understanding of machine learning approaches and their practical applications, as well as deep knowledge of the multiple machine learning libraries (sklearn, statsmodels, etc)
  • Experience developing and productionising machine learning models including their supporting data pipelines,
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical data findings into meaningful business insights.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A self-starter, detail-oriented who thrives on integrity, initiative, team-playing and results.
  • Would be great if you have:
  • PhD in STEM field, plus 2+ years delivering value through data in a commercial environment
  • Experience building/production sing data products based on generative AI
  • Experience with FastAPI, and developing APIs for data-driven applications
  • An innate desire to stay up-to-date and experiment with the latest AI/ML techniques
