As a senior manager, you will lead a motivated team and collaborate with cross-enterprise leaders and stakeholders in a fast paced, matrixed environment, to deliver Retail Pharmacy and CVS Health Enterprise results. You will build the strategic multi-year roadmap, focused on delivering integrated enterprise value, transforming the role of pharmacy, and innovating engagement and care delivery solutions to create meaningful and personalized experiences for patients. In this role, you will work across the enterprise to achieve key performance results, including improved health outcomes, reduced medical costs, and improved patients’ engagement and experience, through the development, design, testing, and scaling of a suite of Retail Pharmacy health services that leverage the local trusted relationships of our pharmacy teams and the enterprise care delivery assets across CVS Health.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities: Strategic Planning Partner with enterprise teams to identify and prioritize high-value opportunities, align on performance targets, and deliver integrated value across multiple business units. Build and lead execution of a comprehensive multi-year roadmap that achieves value targets and delivers on portfolio learning objectives.
Govern the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of new concepts for retail pharmacy from enterprise partners. Collaborate with cross-functional working teams, including technology, operations, analytics, experience, legal, payer relations, finance, and clinical to refine and prioritize key initiatives and develop action plans. Drive efficient planning and ensure outcomes by implementing a strong project management discipline for action plans across your team and cross-functional partners.
Leverage data and analytic insights to inform strategic decisions, monitor progress to targets, produce actionable insights and recommendations, and manage portfolio performance. Navigate ambiguity and change to achieve goals despite potential obstacles. Influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels – up to and including cross-functional SVPs.
Excellent written and oral communication skills-strong presentation skills required. Product Development Foster innovation and gain diverse perspectives to identify creative solutions to deliver results.
Champion quality through continuous collaboration with legal, regulatory, privacy, compliance, and clinical teams through the development life cycle. Lead end-to-end design and testing of prioritized initiatives and new product concepts. Align across functional teams and subject matter experts to budget and resource work.
Manage to appropriate timelines and accountabilities, empowering teams to drive action steps to completion. Oversee test and pilot operations, including training, technology set-up, reporting, performance management, and insights. Leverage data, insights, and analytics to inform iterative and agile design improvements and make stage gate recommendations to cross-enterprise leaders.
Set the business vision and oversee the design and deployment of technology enhancements. Facilitate and lead meetings, working sessions, status updates, collaborative forums, and communications to drive accountability; support the team in identifying and mitigating risks to achieve timelines. Stakeholder Influence and Change Management Leverage data, insights, and analytics to influence stakeholders and makes impactful, audience-tailored recommendations as appropriate.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the integrated business and enterprise assets to influence all levels and build consensus. Demonstrate growth mindset and approach challenges and barriers with curiosity, creativity, and focus on what actions can be taken to drive progress. Provide both constructive and appreciative feedback on ideas and key initiative.
