Senior Partner Solutions Architect (Security – NAMER)
Job Description
We are Datadog’s in-house product experts. The Technical Solutions team enables Datadog’s worldwide growth by educating potential clients and ensuring that existing customers are happy and successful. As a Senior Partner Solutions Architect (Security), you’ll focus on helping partners design, package, and deliver modern security solutions using Datadog’s Observability and Security platform.
You’ll collaborate closely with Datadog’s Channels & Alliances team to help partners achieve secure, observable, and compliant cloud operations for Datadog customers. What You’ll Do:Ensure the successful onboarding, training, and certification of partner technical resources, including security enablement across Datadog’s products.
Participate in periodic joint business planning and review sessions to ensure direct alignment between Datadog and Partner technical teams;Collaborate internally to support Partner technical initiatives such as end-customer demonstrations and proofs of value; partner team enablement workshops; assessment, advice, and coaching on best practices. Advocate on behalf of Partners’ technical concerns—especially around security integrations, data governance, and compliance requirements—helping to drive resolution with internal Datadog teams.
Analyze and understand Partner service offerings on a regular basis and provide recommendations to enhance the value of those services through greater or improved adoption of Datadog features and capabilities. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to help shape new product features, integrations, and best practices. Continuously help curate and evolve lead/best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.
Who You Are:Possess strong technical grounding across Cloud and Security domains, ideally with experience implementing or supporting cloud security, SIEM, and observability solutions. 10–15 years in partner-facing, customer-facing, or consulting technical roles, with a background in cloud security. Self-starter with strong business acumen and the ability to articulate Datadog’s Security and Observability value story from technical deep dives to CISO-level conversations.
Confident presentation skillsDesired hands-on experience in two or more of the following:Observability & Security: Datadog, Splunk, Chronicle, New Relic, AppDynamicsCloud: AWS, Azure, GCP (with IAM, VPC, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Defender for Cloud)Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift (with security add-ons such as KSPM, admission controls)Dev/Scripting: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, GoConfig Mgmt: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, ChefCI / CD: Jenkins, GitLabBonus Points:Prior experience working in a technical role supporting channel partners (Systems Integrators, Managed Service Providers, e. g.
