About the Role
As a Senior Performance Data Analyst in our Everyday Banking team you’ll play a key role in influencing data-driven decision making by combining advanced analytical skills with your thought leadership to improve performance for our customers.
By extracting data and information from Suncorp Bank’s expansive data assets, you will identify ways to enhance customer outcomes, financial profitability and business opportunities that include product, operational and customer onboarding effectiveness.
Role Location: Brisbane is preferred, but open to Melbourne or Sydney
Role Type: Permanent, Fulltime
What will your day look like?
As a Senior Performance Data Analyst, you will:
- Provide insights and analytics on the Suncorp Bank MFI customer portfolio to drive growth and performance improvements.
- Establish and design predictive models to assess portfolio performance and anticipate emerging customer behaviours.
- Create and manage core product performance and operational dashboards, enabling stakeholders to track performance and identify actionable strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement of performance dashboards and data assets to support informed decision-making and boost business outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, monitor key success measures, and prepare data visualizations and reports for senior leadership and the Board.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Demonstrated experience in performance analytics, analysing complex and diverse data to improve commercial performance
- Proven ability to create insights and actionable recommendations from various data sets to build a narrative that drives the business growth. Including testing & learning through results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to present complex concepts clearly to stakeholders coupled with advanced ability to influence strategic decisions through thoughtful analysis & consideration.
- Advanced skills in SQL and MS Excel, with experience in data warehousing and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or COGNOS.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
