Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Power BI Expert with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and optimizing BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft Power BI and a strong proficiency in MS Fabric. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to provide valuable insights to business stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Leverage MS Fabric to manage data integration, transformation, and modeling.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data querying and visualization.
- Implement data security measures and manage user access in Power BI and MS Fabric environments.
- Create and maintain data models using MS Fabric, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Power BI reports and MS Fabric data pipelines.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on Power BI best practices and MS Fabric tools.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure smooth integration between Power BI and other enterprise systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with Power BI and BI solutions.
- Expertise in MS Fabric (Power Query, Dataflows, Datasets, and Fabric Analytics).
- Strong proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for complex calculations and measures.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with SQL and data querying.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Power BI Certification or related certifications.
- Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning integration within Power BI.
- Knowledge of other Microsoft tools such as Azure Synapse, SQL Server, and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and integration with Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
