Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-Data Architect (Insurance & Bordereaux Management Solutions)!
Responsibilities:
• Data Architecture Design: Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and efficient data architectures for bordereaux management solutions in the insurance domain.
• Data Flow and Journey Expertise: Analyze end-to-end data journeys and processes, identifying key touchpoints and ensuring seamless integration between data sources, pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• Technical Architecture Development: Design and document detailed technical architecture and data flows to support bordereaux processing, ensuring compliance with insurance standards and best practices.
• Infrastructure Setup: Define, configure, and optimize the necessary infrastructure components for building and deploying bordereaux solutions, including:
o Azure Blob Storage: General-purpose V2, 150 GB, Azure SQL Database: Single DB, Standard tier, 10 DTU, 250 GB.
o Azure Data Factory V2: Data pipeline services with Self-Hosted Integration Runtime (SHIR),Azure Databricks: Premium Tier, 5 D8AV4, 1.5 DBU,Azure Functions: For serverless compute tasks and event-driven architecture.
o Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS): For container orchestration and deployment of scalable solutions,Azure Key Vault: For secure management of secrets, keys, and credentials.
o Power BI: For visualization and reporting of processed bordereaux data.
o Azure Repo/GitHub: For version control and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Data Modeling & Governance: Develop robust data models, ensuring alignment with insurance-specific requirements such as underwriting, claims, and premium analysis. Implement data governance, security, and quality standards.
• ETL/ELT Development: Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for processing bordereaux data, leveraging tools like Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Cloud Expertise: Provide guidance on cloud-native solutions, including scalability, high availability, and cost optimization in the Azure ecosystem.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Bordereaux Management: Oversee the development of bordereaux management solutions, addressing insurance-specific needs such as policy-level data aggregation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure system performance and reliability by optimizing infrastructure, data pipelines, and database configurations.
• Documentation and Best Practices: Create comprehensive documentation for architecture, data flows, and technical designs. Promote best practices in data architecture and cloud infrastructure management.
Qualifications We Seek in You!
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong background in designing solutions for insurance data and bordereaux management.
• Expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, including Blob Storage, SQL Database, Data Factory, Databricks, AKS, and Key Vault.
• Proficiency in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline development for insurance use cases.
• Excellent understanding of insurance processes, including underwriting, claims, and premium data handling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing data journeys and system performance.
• Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation and data flow diagrams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions using Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge of bordereaux processing, including aggregation, validation, and reporting of policy-level data.
• Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes for managing scalable applications.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Repo/GitHub.
• Self-motivated, with a strong ability to learn new tools and technologies.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.
