The Position

Future Operations – Digital and Tech is looking for the next addition to our technical team. As a Process Data Scientist, you will contribute to the development of descriptive, predictive solutions as well as process modelling to help us use the data insights for the benefit of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) manufacturing production.

 

We are looking for 2 candidates in 2 levels of experience from more Junior to Senior Data Analysts candidates to join our department in Kalundborg.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the process digitalization and automation initiatives of API.
  • Plan coordinate and execute projects where data visualisation, prediction model implementation and analytics can create value.
  • Contribute to the development of the Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) platform.
  • Drive continuous process improvement, share learnings, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the management of the FO – Digital and Tech project flow.

 

Qualifications

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in data science, business analytics, mathematical modelling, process engineering or a related field
  • 2-6 years of experience within chemical engineering & data analytics as Data Analyst, Process Engineer, or Data Scientist etc.
  • Proven experience in process optimization, programming in python, MATLAB and BI tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical industry is an advantage.

 

On a more personal level, you should have excellent communication and leadership skills. You should be able to mentor and guide more junior profiles or have the ambition to develop in that area. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are also important in the position.

 

About the Department

The FO Digital and Tech department is currently growing, and we need two additional members in our team within Data Science and Analytics domain.

Our team at the forefront of digital transformation within API. We are a global team of engineers and data scientists working together to increase digitalisation in manufacturing processes and drive innovation.

 

Being part of API Business Support, our goal is to create value by collaborating with the API Manufacturing facilities, IT and Future Operations, Quality, and other SVP areas. Our team is focused on developing and implementing solutions that enhance the use of data and technology as the base for understanding our process and increase standardization and optimization.
