Senior Product Manager, Search IntentIntroduction to the Team:We’re building the next-generation lodging search experience used by millions across Expedia, Hotels. com, and Vrbo. We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative Senior Product Manager to shape how travelers express intent and discover the right stay.

You’ll define and deliver experience systems that make search intuitive, trustworthy, and personalized to ensure that travelers find the property for them quickly and confidently. This strategic role demands a deep understanding of UX best practices for AI-powered experiences, the ability to align varied stakeholders behind a vision, and a user-centric, innovative mindset. It will be highly visible and offers the potential to influence end-to-end experiences across all Expedia Group brands.

In this role, you will:Translate AI and ML capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy, and delightful experiences for travelersCollaborate with PMs for Query Understanding and Semantic Search to shape and deliver the AI Search strategyDefine and deliver configurable UX patterns and frameworks that support high-quality, differentiated search experiences across multiple brands. Partner with UX design and research to validate usability and desirability of search experiences.

Drive platform scalability and flexibility, enabling brand-level customization without bespoke development. Be on top of industry trends in AI search, UX, personalization, and conversational interfaces and use that knowledge to spark innovation. Advocate for technical excellence and responsible AI practices in user-facing experiences.

Influence product strategy and investment decisions based on business impact, experience quality and platform leverage. Build clear requirements in ambiguous and complex scenarios requiring negotiation across multiple teams. Demonstrate ability to align and influence stakeholders beyond the product team and positively impact department-level strategy.

Be an active contributor and participant to team culture. Mentor more junior product managers. Minimum Qualifications:7+ years of product management experience, with expertise in consumer-facing UX and 2-sided marketplaces.

Direct experience with AI-driven features and their impact on user expectations. Proven track record driving product vision, influencing cross-functional teams, and driving measurable outcomes in ambiguous environments. Preferred Qualifications:Strong collaboration skills with UX design, research, engineering, and data analytics.
