We are seeking an experienced Senior Robotics Engineer who thrives on innovation and is eager to contribute to the future of manufacturing. What You’ll Do
- Develop, implement, and test state-of-the-art motion planning, localization, and control algorithms for industrial robotic manipulators
- Help to architect and build a powerful, flexible, and well-engineered software platform that can be used for a variety of robotics tasks
- Champion collaboration with your cross-functional teammates
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define the roadmap for robotics projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
- Identify opportunities to optimize the performance of robotic systems, including speed, accuracy, and efficiency, through algorithmic improvements and hardware enhancements.
- Continuously assess and improve the development processes, tools, and methodologies used within the robotics engineering team to enhance productivity and quality of deliverables.
Who You Are
- You are excited to work on autonomous robotics systems
- You care about quality and are dedicated to shipping high-quality code
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematic or equivalent experience
- Have 5+ years of experience building distributed systems in C++, Python, or .Net
- You have experience with one or more: TDD, ATDD, Unit Test, CI/CD, and agile/XP
- Experienced with deploying and operating services on Linux
- You have experience with version control, preferably Git
- Have a strong mathematical background
- You have the ability to rapidly implement and iterate on ideas
- Strong expertise in approaches for path planning and robot control, and also with tools such as ROS, MoveIt etc.
- You have familiarity/experience with developing fine-grained control tasks using force feedback or other active approaches to robot control.
- Experience with contemporary approaches to robot control such as neural network/transformer approaches for path planning, VLMs for picking and manipulation tasks etc.
