OverviewCreates, develops, and deploys digital solutions and systems by leveragingadvanced technical skills to design and code software applications, perform systemtesting and debugging, work with cross-functional teams, and influence the overalltechnical strategy and innovation of digital engineering initiatives. Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign and Develop functionality/application for given requirements byfocusing on Functional, Non-Functional and Maintenance needs.

Collaborates with other members of the development team and stakeholdersto make high-level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, andensures scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions.

Integrates various software components or systems, ensuring seamlesscommunication and interoperability between different parts of the solution. Develops and implements detailed test cases, carries out code reviews,performs debugging, and resolves issues to guarantee the reliability, stability,and high quality of solutions.

Creates and maintains technical documentation, including system designs,architecture diagrams, code documentation, and other relevantdocumentation while sharing their knowledge and expertise with teammembers, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and collaboration.

Participates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings,contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success ofprojects.

Support and Troubleshoot production incidents with a sense of urgency byunderstanding customer impact. Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in large scale software development5+ years of experience in Java / Advanced Java3+ years of experience in developing services using Spring, Spring boot andRest APIs. 3+ years of experience working with stakeholders, including ProductManagement, Engineering, and UX team members.

3+ years of solid experience with OOP and design patterns1+ years of exposure to any of the leading cloud platforms (GCP, Azure orAWS)Preferred QualificationsFunctional knowledge and experience of PharmacyExperience with python / node jsGood understanding of regulatory compliances including PCI, PII and PHIExperience promoting proper implementation of Agile processes, techniques,and principlesGood knowledge of CI/CD, build automation tools like Jenkins / GitHub ActionsPro-active attitude, highly self-motivated and able to work without constantoversightExcellent communications skills with ability to communicate effectively in visual, verbal, and written formStrong desire to build and test from the start with TDD development experienceEducationBachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevantexperience)Anticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$92,700. 00 – $203,940. 00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
