Yahoo Mail teams in Three Words: Your personal database Responsibilities You will be coding in Java and/or C++ on Unix platform to help build the next generation backend for Yahoo Mail. This role is in the Communications organization that connects the world through Mail, Messenger, Groups, Calendar, Contacts & Notepad. Minimum Qualifications BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with minimum 6 year’s experience Experience with OOP: Java, C++, or similar Solid understanding of CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, object oriented programming) Understanding of Search algorithms, and familiarity with Relational and/or NoSql databases You must enjoy challenging engineering problems.
