ServiceNow Data Analyst
Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Create, own, and maintain ServiceNow dashboards for CISA executive leadership (i.e. Directors, Program Managers, etc.)
- Create detailed custom reports, KPIs, and other performance metrics to present and share with CISA executive leadership
- Provide operational support where needed to ensure users / stakeholders are able to perform their job.
- Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document business and technical requirements
- Offer technical solutions to address requirements, evaluate alternate solutions, and perform analysis to determine technical courses of action
- Align requirements, sprints, scrums
- Create technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation
- Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products
- Lead, author, and contribute to IT related, technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another relevant technical degree
Experience Requirements:
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics
- Ability to build outcome driven reporting to ensure clients are able to make data driven decisions
- Experience in building enterprise focused reporting solutions
- Experience building dashboards (specifically ServiceNow) but other analytical platforms are a bonus

- Experience working with the ServiceNow Platform
Desired Requirements:
- Experience in implementing scoped applications into client instances
- Experience with Jira/Confluence and Agile practice knowledge strongly preferred
- Ability to write well designed, testable, efficient code to support varied and more complex IT solutions
- Perform all necessary discoveries and fact-finding to fully understand more complex business problems and opportunities. Translate requirements into appropriate code, workflows, reports, etc
- Understanding of Customer Service Management, IT service management, and common service level agreement measurements
- Ability to identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams
- Ability to produce level of estimates and basic deployment plans for ServiceNow functionality
- Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to provide strong technical expertise and collaborate with other IT specialists to rapidly develop and deliver thoughtful solutions that meet changing business needs
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on designs to ensure the final product is what was architected or designed
- Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment
- Excellent collaboration skills and can effectively work in a team environment
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Location:
- HYBRID (If local to Washington, DC – in office 1 per month)
Security Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Public Trust)
- This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenship
