Azure OpenAI is part of Azure AI services, it is one of the hottest growing Azure services. We serve these exciting GPT family models for our Azure customers and provide enterprise promises features to our customers so they can run their AI workload safely, secure, and compliant. This sector is growing fast, service new capabilities and new models quickly. So there are lots of challenges to solve the ever growing problems for our customers.
This role will have an end-to-end impact where you will have an opportunity to work with various technology providers to productize their Azure AI technologies as first-class Azure services. What we are looking for: highly motivated and talented software engineers to improve performance, availability, scalability and user experience of Azure AI by applying cutting-edge open source & cloud technologies and engineering system across our entire software stack.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Write concise and clean code with unit tests
- Design and build scalable, high-performance services that are highly reliable
- Ability to work across teams in a large organization
- Design and implement new features as well as add functionality to existing systems
- Investigate pre-production and production issues, implement and deploy fixes
- Participate in an on-call rotation (typically 14 hours per day for one week every 3 months)
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a great collaborator
Qualifications
Required and Preferred:
- Characteristics: Smart, excellent analytics & problem-solving skills, quality mindset, passionate.
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Languages: C#/Java/PowerShell/Python/Go
- ~1/2 years of architecture, /system design/OO design/product development experience
- Experiences with Web API/Load Testing/Security/Privacy
- Demonstrated technical design, problem solving, coding and debugging skills
- Experiences with Cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure
- Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps or other Engineer System.
