Job Description
Oracle Infrastructure Global Industries Unit in Oracle provides with the world’s most comprehensive set of solution for Energy, Water, Construction and Engineering customers around the globe. The Cross Solutions development group is focused on architecture, design, implementation, and operations of Infrastructure level enterprise solutions to provide good user experiences for business. As a member of the Cross Solutions development team at IDC you would be responsible for building integrations and productized solutions using Utilities/Infrastructure applications from cloud to cloud as well as On-premises applications. The team is involved in entire product development life cycle following agile methodology from inception of product features to delivery on the cloud.
Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
8-10+ years of software engineering or related experience. Experience and knowledge in Utilities domain or Oracle Fusion ERP is an added advantage.
Skills required: Good knowledge in Java, XML, J2EE development skills, SQL/PL SQL. (Essential). Sound knowledge of SOAP/REST Web services, XML, WSDL and XSD (Essential)· Excellent Debugging skills using Java debugging and Web Developer tools.· Development of automation test frameworks and experience in Testing tools such as Selenium/SOAP UI/Ready API/JUnit/E2E testing tools (Essential)· Knowledge in Oracle Integration Cloud, Process Cloud, SOA Cloud Service (SOA CS), API Cloud Service (Desirable)· Knowledge of Python, AI, GEN AI, and ML with Integration solutions (Desirable)· Domain experience/Functional knowledge in Utilities applications : Customer Care and Billing/Meter Solutions/Work and Asset management/Oracle Fusion ERP/GIS is an added advantage.· Familiarity with Subversion or similar version control tools.· Experience in working with Agile/Scrum based development Experience with deployment and release management processes · Excellent team player with good communication, problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Strong organizational and time management skills

You will be involved in development of different integration releases and post release customer support.
You will be responsible for building test automation frameworks for software validation and guiding the team for building automation tests.
You will be responsible for coordinating with Product Managers, Product Owner, Architects, Developers for understanding the designs and ensuring the requirements and acceptance criteria is fulfilled. Coordinate with product management and software and support engineers to deliver stable enterprise software products.
You will also be responsible for coordinating with the documentation teams for reviewing the documentation for technical accuracy and helping them understand the features.
