At Core System Platform we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture, a key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive. Our mission is to create a Vehicle Control Unit platform using new technologies like NVIDIA DRIVE™ OS and NVIDIA’s latest chip technology in combination with more traditional car signaling technologies. We are dedicated to deliver platform functions simplifying the application development to create a safe, reliable, and secure platform solution within Volvo Cars for increased innovation and speed.

 

What you will do

As a software developer within Core System Platform, you will work as part of an agile team, building solutions which are safe and reliable. You will write software enabling our solutions to be compliant with the highest safety grades in the car industry.

 

Who are you?

We want to work with you who have a keen interest in modern computing technologies and want to work in an evolving industry. You like solving problems together with others. You are a customer-oriented person who enjoys being part of a team where you take own initiatives and take pride in your own and the team’s deliveries.

 

You and your skills

We think you have a broad background within software, spanning from systemization to coding and testing.

 

For this position the following skills are needed:

  • Highly skilled in C and C++ development in embedded systems.
  • Have good knowledge of working in a Linux environment

 

The following are meritorious, but not a must:

  • – Skilled in CMake or similar tools.
  • – Skilled in Python.
  • – Experience in the Automotive industry.
  • – Experience in fault tolerant, secure and safe embedded systems.
