Responsibilities
Noblis is seeking an experienced Software Developer with an active Top Secret security clearance in Bridgeport, West Virginia.

You would join our team as a Software Developer to support a law enforcement program that engages with clients and end users to design, create, deploy, migrate and maintain digital solutions that are transforming the way law enforcement and intelligence communities handle, process, analyze, visualize, and translate information into actionable information.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide engineering and technical support in areas of design, development, engineering, research, evaluation, deployment, integration, and maintenance of software and systems, whether on the front-end, back-end, or as a full-stack.
- Write application codes, automated tests, and inform deployment procedures.
- Conduct design and code reviews, participate in daily scrums, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate with the development team to support QA/QC and troubleshooting activities.
- Apply advanced technical expertise to design, implement, and optimize systems, processes, and technologies.
- Provide assistance monitoring and resolving issues with deployed systems.
- Ability to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to project goals.
- Make key decisions that shape project direction and influence over business and project strategy, aligning client goals.
- Drive innovative solutions and creative problem-solving to address challenging issues and enhance project outcomes.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering growth and development through coaching, feedback, and hands-on support.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
- Bachelor of Science in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and a minimum of 8 years of related experience OR Master’s Degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 5+ years of experience.
- Possess hands on experience and ability to work tasks with Python, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Vue.js, MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka, as well as:
- Scripting and programming languages like Java, C#, Shell Scripting, or Groovy.
- Development frameworks like React, Spring Boot, or Bootstrap.
- Microservice architectures, software platforms, and frameworks like NiFi or Ansible.
- Relational or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB, or ElasticSearch.
- Version control systems such as Git, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, and Bamboo, and container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- You have hands on experience on the front-end, back-end, and/or full stack and have the ability to work some or all tasks across the software development lifecycle – including database, backend services, APIs, web frontend, migration/deployment scripts, tests, and documentation.
- You have hands-on experience with writing and maintaining automated tests (unit, integration, stress, load, etc.)
- You have working knowledge of Agile software development frameworks (Scrum and SAFe) and have hands on experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery practices.
- You have working knowledge of the following Atlassian products: Jira/Zephyr, Confluence, or Fisheye.
- You are willing to support the client on-site with hybrid option as tasking allows.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it’s just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
Posted Salary Range
USD $112,950.00 – USD $176,470.00 /Yr.
