This high impact role will sit within our Partner Engineering Team, being an essential contributor to Merge’s platform. You will play a crucial part in our mission of powering integrations for all B2B companies, having high ownership over data quality and data efficiency on the team. This role would appeal to someone with strong technical coding skills, but who has a desire to spend more time focusing on advocating for scalability and driving direction on big data challenges, combined with data and application engineering.
What You Will Do:
- You will be responsible for building and maintaining high quality, highly efficient integrations that sync data extremely effectively
- Provide support for the platform team as a whole, being the data quality expert on a team of 6-8
- Lead initiatives for enhancing and optimizing our our internal tooling, while defining key metrics to power and measure the efficacy of our integrations.
- Use data to solve business problems, unblock hurdles within the platform team, and deliver high quality results
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, post-sales, product, and partnerships teams to deliver enterprise-grade integrations & expand Merge’s coverage across 7 categories
- Driving ETL and data performance initiatives for the team
- Mentor junior talent on the team
What We Are Looking For:
- 4+ years in engineering roles with startup experience being a plus
- Prior experience working with APIs and integrations
- Technical understanding and problem solving abilities, through the lens of a data heavy technical role
- Experience with ETL and large data processing and movement
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to work cross-functionally both with technical and non-technical teams to drive companywide outcomes, especially in ambiguous situations
Compensation
- The cash compensation range for this role is $150,000 – $180,000.
- Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package.
