About Genesys DX Digital &AI
This is an exciting time to be part of Genesys DX R&D AI Business Unit as we are innovating with speed and scale. You will be a key contributor to create the best cloud-based digital experience (DX) solution focusing on AI and providing an amazing end-to-end experience. As a part of Digital & AI team, you will help us build Genesys’ core conversational AI capabilities and features spanning, but not limited to, chat and voice bots, information retrieval, Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and document understanding to power the next generation of Genesys products.
About the Role
We are looking for problem solvers to help us build the next-generation platforms, products and services. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of developers, researchers and product managers on microservices and event-driven architectures. You will have an opportunity to work as a part of a team that does practical research, contributes to the development of new features, identifies technical risks, and finds alternate solutions to practical problems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field with 2+ years industry experience with product development.
- Experience in front-end development with expertise in a modern Javascript framework like Angular, React or Vue.
- Solid expertise in Python/Java programming, and a solid understanding of OOPs and Software Engineering principles.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in designing and implementing REST APIs using frameworks like Flask.
- Interested in analysing and solving performance issues at scale with requisite experience.
- Keen to explore new algorithms, new application areas and new tools.
- Possessing strong interpersonal and effective communication (both written and verbal) skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear & concise way to different audiences.
- A team player with good work ethics.
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to AWS/Azure services and a good understanding of Cloud development fundamentals
- Exposure to the development of AI/ML models and managing SaaS infrastructure.
- Exposure to NLP/Vision ML problems and experience with Deep Learning frameworks like Tensorflow, PyTorch or HuggingFace.
