Software Engineer, iOS ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to build innovative application experiencesImplement custom user interfaces using latest programming techniques and technologiesDevelop reusable software components for interfacing with back-end platformsAnalyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performanceLead complex technical or product efforts and provide technical guidance to peersArchitect efficient and scalable systems that drive complex applicationsIdentify and resolve performance and scalability issuesWork on a variety of coding languages and technologiesEstablish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understandingMinimum QualificationsCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta2+ years of programming experience in a relevant language OR a PhD + 9 months programming experience in a relevant languageTrack record of setting technical direction for a team, driving consensus and successful cross-functional partnershipsExperience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniquesPreferred Qualifications1+ years experience building complex applications targeting iOS in production using its native languages and frameworks2+ years experience building complex applications for the iPhone or iPad using Objective-C/C++/Swift with the iOS SDK and other frameworksExperience with multithreading programming and mobile memory managementExperience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniquesShipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users
