Join Sustainable Talent as a Software QA Engineer supporting Nvidia and their Engineering team. This is a W-2 full-time contract based in Santa Clara, CA. We offer competitive pay $40 – $70/hourly based on factors like experience, education, location, etc. and provide full benefits, PTO, and amazing company culture!

 

You will play a key member of the data collection and operation teams to serve as a liaison for the engineering team. You will work with our data engineering team to design engineering improvements to increase and scale operational efficiencies. You will lead complex operations to ensure timely completion of data collection requests. The ideal candidate is technical and has hands-on experience with various hardware and software concepts. This candidate should have interest in autonomous vehicles and be comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal mentorship. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prepare vehicle and system for data collection.
  • Collect various types of data for DNN training.
  • Review and follow technical documentation related to ML/AI data collection.
  • Provide constructive feedback to engineers on various methods and procedures.
  • Standardize data operation practices for upscaling.
  • Execute and modify Bash and Python scripts based on the team’s needs. 
  • Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware issues.
  • Work independently to quickly and efficiently overcome challenges, escalating to leadership if necessary.
  • Help and support the development of state of the art autonomous vehicle technology in an agile environment.

 

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or have a technical degree
  • You will have 2+ years of experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers and staff.
  • Ability to work in a constantly evolving, hands-on, startup environment.
  • Ability to make decisions and work with minimal direction.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge in programming languages like bash, python, C, C++.
  • Experience with task management tools like Jira.

  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and procedures.
  • You have exceptional knowledge of Linux filesystems and Bash.
  • Exposure to programming languages like Python and C++.
