Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering or technical consulting, and 1 year of experience in technical leadership.
  • 5 years of experience in BigQuery and data cloud/AI/ML products, infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Helm) and cloud monitoring/debugging tools.
  • Experience architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed enterprise systems in the cloud.
  • Experience with a technical analytics/data/AI/ML program for partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to design and develop integrations between Google products and third-parties.
  • Ability to work with executives, product leaders, sales personnel, and engineers across different teams both internal to Google and external.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.

You listen to the customer and swiftly problem-solve technical issues to show how our products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative. You work closely with a cross-functional team of web developers and systems administrators, not to mention a variety of both regional and international customers. Your relationships with customers are crucial in helping Google grow its Cloud business and helping companies around the world innovate.

In this role, you will work closely with the industry solutions team, build relationships within all levels of ISVs, including CTOs and heads of product and engineering, and their engineering organizations. You will enable telcos to design, build and verify solutions that solve their technical and business challenges by increasing the advantages of Google Cloud and other Google’s data cloud and AI/ML products. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and help partners find innovative solutions to problems through collaboration with teams across Google.

As a member of this team, you will communicate with businesses of all types to help them adopt Google products and solutions wherever they are on their cloud journey. You will explore and experiment with our suite of products, partner tools, and third party applications to build and deploy cloud solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Guide the technical relationship with telcos, ISVs and SIs in relation to building with Google’s data cloud, participating in deep technical discussions and workshops to understand their needs, develop detailed solution architectures based on Google’s best practices and resolve technical issues.
  • Build a broad technical familiarity and practical analytics-centric experience with different products and services within Google Cloud (especially BigQuery, Data Cloud and AI/ML, but also wider compute, storage, networking and DevOps domains) and other Google product areas.
  • Influence Google’s product and engineering teams to deliver partners’ needs, providing partner insight to help define product direction and resolve partners’ technical roadblocks.
  • Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations adapted to technical, business, and executive partners.
  • Provide telco domain expertise in supporting the technical relationship with Google’s customers.
